Job Title: Small Parts Assembler / Production Operator – Assembly Team

Job Summary

We are hiring a Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this entry-level role, you will assemble small parts and components, operate light production equipment, and perform basic quality checks. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have good attention to detail, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble small parts and components using hand tools and power tools.
• Operate light machinery for bagging, labeling, and etching products.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and assembly procedures accurately.
• Inspect and test parts as needed to ensure quality standards are met.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to complete production tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Handle materials and components weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Report production issues or concerns to supervisors as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail for working with small parts.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, oils, and machinery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in assembly work.
• Basic understanding of blueprints and work instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills and manufacturing processes.

Work Environment

• Climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
• Regular use of hand tools, power tools, and light production equipment.
• Assembly and inspection of small parts and components.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
• Exposure to manufacturing noise, machinery, and oils while following established safety procedures.

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
