Regional Director of Operations, New York and New Jersey

Position Summary

Alliance Homecare is looking for an exceptional healthcare operator to lead and scale the New York City, Long Island and New Jersey markets across its Alliance Homecare and TrustHouse brands. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a proven operator who wants meaningful ownership, broad responsibility and the ability to shape a rapidly growing organization.

This leader will own the performance of a multi-million-dollar private-pay home care and private nursing business—including client experience, staffing, workforce management, financial performance, team leadership and execution against our growth strategy.

We are seeking an operator who knows how to build high-performing teams, create accountability, solve problems quickly and turn growth into scalable, repeatable operations. This is not a desk-only leadership position. The right person will be strategic enough to help shape where we are going and hands-on enough to ensure we execute every day.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Operations & Execution

• Own regional operating performance across New York City, Long Island and New Jersey.
• Lead, develop and hold accountable the leaders and teams responsible for Scheduling, Client Success, Recruiting and Care Management.
• Create operating rhythms, clear performance expectations and disciplined follow-through across the region.
• Build scalable systems and operating practices capable of supporting continued rapid growth.
• Identify operational bottlenecks early and drive them to resolution with urgency.

Financial Performance & Business Management

• Own regional operational and financial performance, with clear accountability for profitable growth.
• Manage key operating KPIs, including speed to staff, fill rates, client retention, workforce utilization, service quality, productivity and margin.
• Improve margins through labor management, staffing optimization, productivity gains and disciplined expense management.
• Partner with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, performance reporting and operational planning.
• Translate data into action by identifying trends, diagnosing root causes and implementing measurable solutions.

Client Experience Clinical Partnership & Quality

• Ensure every client and family receives responsive, high-touch and consistently exceptional service.
• Partner closely with Clinical Leadership to support quality care delivery, sound clinical operations and strong client outcomes.
• Ensure operational compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, policies and service standards.
• Lead the resolution of complex client, caregiver and operational situations with sound judgment, professionalism and urgency.

Growth Technology & Scale

• Partner with Growth and Clinical leadership to convert new business into successfully staffed, well-managed and long-term cases.
• Operationalize new partnerships, service lines and strategic initiatives while protecting quality and profitability.
• Champion technology, automation and AI-enabled solutions that improve productivity, reduce administrative burden, accelerate execution and allow the organization to scale efficiently.
• Continuously challenge existing processes and determine whether the work can be done faster, better and more efficiently.

Leadership & Culture

• Build a culture of accountability, urgency, professionalism, collaboration and white-glove service.
• Develop strong leaders, address performance issues directly and create clear ownership at every level.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships across Operations, Clinical, Growth, Finance, Recruiting and Client Success.
• Lead with an ownership mentality and model the judgment, energy and standards expected across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience, including responsibility for geographically dispersed or multi-site operations.
• Proven experience leading a multi-million-dollar healthcare business, market or region with meaningful financial accountability.
• Strong P&L, workforce-management and operating-metrics experience.
• Demonstrated success building teams, strengthening processes and scaling operating infrastructure in a high-growth environment.
• Experience in private-pay home care, private duty nursing, healthcare staffing or concierge healthcare strongly preferred.
• RN background strongly preferred but not required for an exceptional healthcare operator with deep clinical partnership experience.
• Strong understanding of healthcare compliance and service-quality expectations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and relationship-building skills, including the executive presence to engage confidently with clients, families, referral sources and healthcare professionals.
