Our area of focus in BI Technology to develop Agile and economic solutions is using the following products: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 SSIS - SQL Server Integration Services SSRS - SQL Server Reporting Services SSAS - SQL Server Analysis Services Oracle 10g RAC SAP Crystal Reports SAP Business Objects SAP Crystal Reports Dashboard Job Description Title: Cognos Admin Location: Chicago, IL Job Description This position is for Cognos administrator, advance Knowledge of Cognos is required including DQM integration at Web layer Must have strong knowledge of TM1 Server, TM1 Operations Console, TM1 Applications, TM1 Web Software Installation and configurations and applying patches is part of the job responsibilities Strong knowledge of windows platform and scripting skills are important for this position Having worked with Cognos integration between Cognos Business Intelligence components is a plus Monitor performance and provide tuning recommendations for the system including web servers Must have experience in implementing Single sign-on Should have strong knowledge of Cognos Disaster Recovery and backup/restore processes Ability to independently troubleshoot problems and enable logging and debug modes Knowledge of IIS and Apache web servers and Tomcat application and Web Sphere liberty profile server configurations Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory LDAP Willing to document change management (ITSM) and other tasks and adhere to strict procedures for audit requirements. Must have excellent understanding of high availability concepts like web server load balancing Must have knowledge of the workings of Windows servers and desktops, from knowing how to navigate the OS both via the GUI and command line Have a firm understanding of windows registry and how installed applications integrated into the registry.
