Job Requirements Position SummaryThis position provides direction, leadership and day-to-day management of educational and residency program activities to include administrative support to the Program Directors of the residency programs and faculty. This position assists with accreditation oversight and manages the Program Coordinator for the Transitional Year Program. Acts and makes decisions in the Program Directors’ absence, within the prescribed limits of authority.Minimum RequirementsEducation High School diplomaAssociate’s degreeExperience 3-4 years Executive Administrative Assistant in healthcare with supervisory experienceLicense/Registration/Certifications N/APreferred RequirementsPreferred Education Bachelor’s degreePreferred Experience 8-9 years of demonstrated success in Program Coordinator position, or other experience with medical residency programsSupervisory/management experiencePreferred License/Registration/Certifications TAGME certificationCore Job ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with Program Director for supervision of residents.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Manages all associates recruited to work under this position.ACGME accreditation oversight, program policy review, oversight and enforcement.Be a people-person and ambassador for SMC and the residency-fellowship programsExceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask and balance competing prioritiesOther duties as assigned Job SummaryJob number: P-108246Profession: Clinical Support Careers
