Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including formulas, reporting, and data analysis.Experience Requirements: 2 to 4 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or financial analysis experience. Experience managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Hands-on experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. Experience using QuickBooks required; ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Sage, Oracle, or similar preferred. Manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, and variance analysis experience highly preferred.Preferred Qualifications: Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements and accounting data. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Physical Capabilities: Ability to sit, type, and work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to review detailed financial records, spreadsheets, and reports. Occasionally lift and carry office materials up to 20 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced office and manufacturing support environment.Job Duties: Reconcile bank statements, fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts. Prepare journal entries, financial reports, and account reconciliations while researching and resolving discrepancies. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Process customer payments, maintain A/R records, monitor outstanding balances, and support collections efforts. Review, code, and process vendor invoices while resolving invoice and purchase order discrepancies. Maintain A/P and A/R subledgers and ensure accuracy of financial records. Perform cost accounting activities, manufacturing variance analysis, and financial data review. Maintain company financial records and support internal audits.
