Transportation Analyst

Virtual Vocations Inc

To support efficient logistics operations, the full-time Transportation Analyst will manage and optimize outbound shipments across the U.S., ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while working onsite in Hershey, PA or remotely. Key responsibilities Ensure on-time customer deliveries by managing and monitoring outbound shipments to meet service-level agreements Optimize transportation efficiency through data analysis to improve routing, carrier utilization, and load planning Coordinate with carriers for pickups, track shipments, and resolve service issues to maintain reliable performance Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field 1+ years of experience in transportation or logistics, with knowledge of freight modes and transportation regulations Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP platforms, and shipment tracking tools Strong analytical and reporting skills, particularly with Excel Ability to coordinate high-volume shipments and build relationships with carriers and customers
