Registered Nurse - Full Time Mixed Shift

The Nursing Home Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting with day-to-day nursing activities, ensuring exceptional healthcare through accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Communicate significant changes in resident conditions to physicians and families promptly.
• Complete applicable resident assessments thoroughly.
• Administer medications while adhering to the 5 Rights protocol.
• Perform wound care and assessments as needed.
• Assist CNAs with answering call lights and monitoring residents for changes in condition.
• Act as a leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as required.
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
• Maintain accurate resident records with thorough charting.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree preferred.
• Must hold and maintain a Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are required.

Schedule

This position involves a full-time mixed shift schedule: 7 Day shifts (6am-2pm) and 3 PM shifts (2pm-10pm), with every other weekend required.
