Miami, FL, US 7 days ago Requisition ID: 1868 Salary Range: $15.04 To $17.97 Hourly Position Title Care Coordinator (CSU) (Non‑Exempt) Effective Date 04/2025 Renewal Date — Position Purpose The Care Coordinator (CSU) will assist individuals admitted in the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) with behavioral health needs through admission and after discharge. This includes services and support that affect a person’s overall well‑being, such as primary physical health care, housing, and social connectedness. Position Requirements / Qualifications Education / Experience Graduate from an accredited College or University with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the human service field and have a minimum of one year of full‑time experience working with children and adolescents experiencing serious mental illness and in which the person provided case management, counseling, training, therapy, and/or guidance to children, adolescents and their families. Incumbents must be at least 21 years of age, have maintained a valid Florida driver’s license for at least one year, and must be able to pass a driver’s screening background check. Licensure / Certification Maintain current CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Skills / Ability Possess knowledge of community resources, community‑based organizations, and private providers of services to optimize the functions of individuals eligible to receive management services. Good documentation skills, computer literacy, ability to work independently, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Sensitivity to cultural, religious, racial, disability, and gender issues. Position Relationships Responsible to: Coordinator of Special Programs Position number: — Interrelationships: Maintains open communication lines with supervisors, peers, staff, and the public. Environmental Conditions Position is required to work in a temperature‑controlled environment; program office approximately 25% of the time. Travel to client homes, schools and community locations required approximately 75% of the time. Potential exposure to violent situations. Potential exposure to airborne/blood‑borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.
