Low Voltage Security Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a Low Voltage Security Technician to install, service, and maintain a variety of electronic security systems. This role involves working in commercial environments and supporting system performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Install and service low voltage systems including: Access control CCTV / video surveillance Intrusion detection / alarm systems Run, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5/6, fiber, etc.) Mount and configure devices such as cameras, readers, panels, and sensors Troubleshoot system issues and perform repairs as needed Read and interpret basic drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams Ensure installations meet quality and safety standards Provide basic training or support to end users when needed Qualifications Experience working with low voltage or security systems preferred Basic knowledge of wiring, networking, and electronic systems Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites Preferred (Not Required) Experience with systems such as Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Honeywell, etc. Industry certifications (NICET, ESA, manufacturer certs) Experience in commercial construction or service environments #J-18808-Ljbffr
