Medical Assistant:

Seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and dependable Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position supports physicians and patients throughout the medical visit and is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, bilingual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Compensation:

$25.00–$30.00 per hour

Paid training provided

Work Location:

Brooklyn & Queens — In Person

Travel to Long Island as needed.

Job Overview:

The Medical Assistant will assist healthcare providers with patient intake and preparation for medical visits. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively in Spanish and English and have strong computer and organizational skills.

No bloodwork required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting vital signs and medical history.
• Accurately document patient symptoms and information in electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist providers during medical examinations.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure accurate and efficient management of electronic health records.
• Perform data entry and update patient records as needed.
• Help maintain an organized and efficient clinical workflow.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient support.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bilingual Spanish and English proficiency required.
• Excellent patient-service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working with computers and electronic medical records.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Must be dependable and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel between Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island as needed.
