Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as ordered, interpret monitoring, and respond to obstetric emergencies. Assist with labor and delivery procedures; support newborn care, including resuscitation as needed; scrub duties may be requested as an added bonus. Document care and daily progress in the patient record; maintain accurate charting and adherence to safety and infection control practices. Collaborate with obstetric, anesthesia, and neonatal teams; educate patients and families about care plans and postpartum expectations. Ensure compliance with unit policies and participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives; RTO requests must be approved and added to the end of the contract. Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Washington (WA); multi‑state licenses are accepted with verification: approved 6‑hour suicide training and demographics verification from Nursys. BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required; STABLE training preferred but not required. Knowledge of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery settings required; Meditech knowledge is helpful but not required. Ability to work the listed night shift and travel assignment; ability to function effectively in a hospital environment.
