Step into a pivotal support role serving young learners during the 2026-2027 school year as a part-time School Psychologist. In this contract position, you’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated team on the preschool arena testing team, providing critical assessments and contributing your expertise to ensure the best outcomes for early childhood students.

This opportunity entails working onsite for 14-15 hours per week alongside an experienced speech-language pathologist and two diagnosticians. Your primary focus will be participating in arena evaluations, particularly for children transitioning as they turn three years old. These evaluations often center on autism and developmental assessments, providing an impactful opportunity to make a difference early in a child's education.

What You’ll Need:

• Current credentials and licensing as a School Psychologist
• Prior experience or coursework related to early childhood psychological or developmental assessments preferred
• Comfort working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams—including SLPs and diagnosticians
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Flexibility and professional judgment in supporting a variable and evolving caseload focused on specific evaluation types
• No CPI training is required

Your Responsibilities:

• Participate in preschool arena evaluations, with an emphasis on autism and developmental assessments
• Collaborate and consult with team members to interpret evaluation findings and recommend interventions
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of assessments and outcomes
• Work onsite at Lincoln Elementary in the Cedar Lake area
• Start date is flexible between August 10 and 17th, providing a smooth transition into the school year
