In this role, you’ll contribute your expertise as part of a preschool arena testing team, working alongside a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist and two Diagnosticians. Your primary focus will be participation in arena evaluations—supporting assessments for children turning three, with a strong emphasis on Autism evaluations. While the caseload is difficult to define due to the nature of referral-based assessments, you’ll handle a select number of specific evaluation types as needs arise.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification (State requirements must be met)
• Prior experience in early childhood and preschool assessment preferred
• Comfort participating in multidisciplinary team evaluations
• Understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment protocols
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
• No CPI certification required for this role

What you’ll do:

• Partner with SLP and Diagnosticians for arena-style evaluations
• Complete psychological assessments for children entering preschool
• Offer insights on cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to eligibility decisions
• Communicate findings to families and staff with empathy and clarity
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per school and state guidelines
