Procurement Manager
Northbound Executive Search
Our client, a well-known Financial Services firm in New York, is looking for a VP of Procurement to join its team. Responsibilities Define and execute enterprise procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, positioning procurement as a strategic value driver. Lead complex sourcing initiatives, global negotiations, and procurement governance frameworks to optimize commercial outcomes and manage risk. Drive procurement transformation through process optimization, digital and AI-enabled solutions, automation, and enhanced operating models. Implement procurement technologies, analytics, and performance frameworks to improve visibility, efficiency, compliance, and measurable business impact. Oversee supplier strategy, lifecycle management, performance governance, and risk mitigation to strengthen partnerships and operational resilience. Develop cost optimization strategies, savings initiatives, spend forecasting, and financial governance programs to maximize total cost of ownership. Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams across Legal, Finance, Operations, Risk, IT, and global business units to deliver strategic insights and commercial value. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, or related functions.
