Okie Staffing is seeking a dependable Capstan Hoist Assembler to join a manufacturing team focused on assembling heavy-duty lifting equipment. This position involves assembling components, performing quality checks, and ensuring the finished products meet rigorous safety and performance standards.

Location: Tulsa, OK

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5am to 3pm Day shift

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00/hr DOE
Key Responsibilities

Assembling capstan hoists and related lifting equipment components according to drawings and specifications
Using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment assembly techniques
Performing quality inspections to verify correct assembly and function
Collaborating with the production team to maintain workflow and meet deadlines
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
Reporting any defects or issues to supervisors promptly

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
No experience needed
Prior mechanical assembly experience preferred, especially with hoists or lifting equipment
Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and assembly instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
Good communication and teamwork skills
