Staff Accountant

GA Telesis Ecosystem™ spans 54 locations in 30 countries on six continents. We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Staff Accountant to join our headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role reports to the Corporate Controller and supports the Accounting Department with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. Eligibility Requirements Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. The company does not provide visa sponsorship or accept candidates requiring sponsorship. Responsibilities Prepare monthly journal entries and month‑end reconciliations for various accounts. Interface with other departments to verify transaction report data and resolve issues. Monitor vendor accounts and review the accounts payable aging schedule. Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts. Assist in compiling check batches and setting up payments for approval. Work directly with the Controller and Assistant Controller on department projects. Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. Assist in preparing documentation for external auditors. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 2–3 years of work experience with a concentration in accounting. Ability to read and analyze financial reports. Detail-oriented with strong research, technical, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and perform under demanding timelines and pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). #J-18808-Ljbffr GA Telesis, LLC
