Surgery Coordinator

Job Description

Position Title: Surgery Coordinator

\n

Work Location: Boca Raton FL 33487

\n

Assignment Duration: 6 months

\n

Position Summary: Responsible for coordinating and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials needed for surgery. Ensures the safe and timely transportation of inventory to medical facilities and locations.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Coordinates with staff to ensure surgery requisitions are submitted timely and accurately.
    • \n
  • Checks orders for completeness and make recommendations based on prior usage.
    • \n
  • Fulfills surgery requests accurately and within required timeframes.
    • \n
  • Uses ERP/MRP software to loan, receive, ship, issue, and track inventory.
    • \n
  • Collaborates with Sales Operations, Supply Chain, and on-site warehouse teams to fulfill orders.
    • \n
  • Assists warehouse personnel with manual order fulfillment as needed.
    • \n
  • Ensures the timely return of inventory and maintains real-time status updates.
    • \n
  • Boxes, packs, labels, ships instruments, and handles deliveries and returns safely.
    • \n

Qualification & Experience:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • \n
  • Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
    • \n
  • High attention to detail with ability to follow directions precisely.
    • \n
  • Ownership of tasks and processes with a team-first approach.
    • \n
  • Working knowledge of relevant product groups preferred.
    • \n
  • Required Education/Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience
    • \n
