Business Intelligence Developer / Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Developer / Data Analyst to support Technology Asset Management and Vendor End of Support (VEoS) governance initiatives. In this role, you will leverage data analytics, reporting, and visualization tools to provide actionable insights that help drive technology compliance, risk management, and operational decision-making.

You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop scalable reporting solutions, automate data processes, and improve governance visibility across technology assets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights for technology, risk, and governance teams.
• Build and optimize SQL queries to support data extraction, validation, analysis, and reporting requirements.
• Develop and automate data pipelines using Power Query, ETL methodologies, and data transformation techniques .
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting and analytics solutions.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and process improvement recommendations.
• Create, manage, and track user stories, requirements, and development activities within Jira supporting ServiceNow-related initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and continuous improvement for analytics and reporting solutions.
• Support governance and compliance initiatives related to Technology Asset Management and Vendor End of Support programs.

Required Qualifications

• Experience developing business intelligence solutions using Power BI .
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, analyzing, and validating data.
• Experience creating data visualizations that communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data transformation best practices.
• Experience working with GitHub or other source control platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Technology Asset Management (TAM) , IT governance, risk, or compliance initiatives.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow platforms and workflows.
• Experience working in Agile environments and managing work through Jira .
• Knowledge of Power Query and advanced reporting automation techniques.
• Experience with enterprise-scale reporting and dashboard development.
