Investment Operations Specialist

Russell Tobin is seeking a highly organized and analytical Investment Operations Specialist. This role focuses on investment oversight, operational support, risk monitoring, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient business operations and high-quality client deliverables. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and enjoys working with teams across Operations, Trading, Risk, and other business functions. Key Responsibilities Support investment oversight and operational processes within Asset & Wealth Management. Produce accurate and customized client materials with exceptional attention to detail. Analyze operational data and assist with reporting and process improvements. Partner with product groups, operations, trading, and risk teams to support daily business activities. Monitor operational controls and assist with risk management initiatives. Help identify workflow improvements and support operational efficiency. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting while meeting business deadlines. Utilize Excel and other technology platforms to analyze and manage operational data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve processes. Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Preferred 1–5 years of professional experience. Previous experience in Operations and/or the Financial Services industry preferred. Advanced or highly proficient Microsoft Excel skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities. Experience with risk management concepts is a plus. Familiarity with Bloomberg, Python, Tableau, or similar analytical tools is preferred. CFA designation or progress toward the CFA is a plus.
