General Accountant

Adecco is hiring a General Accountant to support the financial operations of our manufacturing facility in Sealy, Texas. This full‑time, on‑site role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes Support AP and AR functions as needed Prepare financial reports, summaries, and supporting documentation Assist in tracking expenses, budgets, and cost analysis Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits Assist with internal and external audits when required Work closely with operations, purchasing, and management teams Support inventory tracking and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Maintain organized financial files and records Assist with additional finance or administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 1+ year of accounting or finance experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems Preferred qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of cost accounting or inventory accounting Familiarity with ERP systems Bilingual (English/Mandarin) is a plus What We're Looking For Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Clear communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams High level of integrity and accountability Willingness to learn and grow within the company Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) plan Pay Range: $48,000 - $53,000 per year.
