Employment Type: Full-Time Summary:
Support production operations by fabricating and preparing metal components used in equipment and structural assemblies. This role focuses on accuracy, quality, and collaboration with the production team to ensure parts meet specifications. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Measure, cut, grind, and prepare metal components for fabrication
- Perform fit-up and part preparation prior to welding and assembly
- Operate fabrication equipment such as band saws, grinders, drill presses, and plasma cutters
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to tolerances
- Experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or similar environment
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with fabrication equipment
- Reliable attendance and ability to work safely in a production environment
