Your role as a Medical Assistant

Join the exciting team at Carolina Nephrology as a Full-Time Medical Assistant, where your medical office experience will shine! We're on the lookout for outgoing problem solvers who are passionate about patient care. This role requires attention to detail, excellent phone etiquette, and a solid grasp of medical terminology and grammar skills. Your days will involve reviewing and entering patient information into our EHR system, sharing valuable educational insights, and providing essential support to our medical providers. You'll also be providing wound care and drawing labs and administering injections-so you'll definitely want to roll up those sleeves!If you're reliable, well-organized, and eager to learn within a team environment (with a little travel to our area offices), this is the perfect opportunity to unleash your talents and make a meaningful impact on our patients' lives!

Are you the Medical Assistant we're looking for?

To thrive as a Full-Time Medical Assistant at Carolina Nephrology, you'll need a toolkit of essential skills and experience! A solid year of familiarity with EMR systems is a must-after all, we need you to navigate patient information like a pro! Being adept at taking vital signs and having at least a year of phlebotomy experience will set you up for success in this role, ensuring our patients receive the best care possible. While knowledge of Epic is preferred, your enthusiasm and willingness to learn are just as valuable! A keen eye for detail, strong communication abilities, and teamwork spirit will help you shine, as you collaborate with our dedicated staff to make a positive impact every day.

Requirements:

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Required)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Required)
• Phlebotomy: 1 year (Required)
• Epic: 1 year (Preferred)
• Wound care experience highly desired
• Prefer Vascular medical assisting experience

Pay Range:

• $16.00 - $22.00 / hour based on experience

Schedule:

• 7-hour shift
• Monday to Friday

License/Certification:

• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
