Procurement Analyst Duties
The duties and responsibilities for a Procurement Analyst, GS-1102-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee the development and/or recommends policies and procedures in the area of acquisition, to include formulating guidelines, implementing new developments.
- Develop, coordinate and maintain Department-level policy and Justice Management Division (Offices, Boards, and Divisions) policy and initiatives, regulations and guidance relative to acquisition.
- Prepare documentation for senior management with detailed data supporting various alternative courses of action.
- Keep senior management advised on new/revised policy and procedures covering a variety of acquisition and management topics.
- Respond to inquiries regarding Federal acquisition regulations, acquisition procedures, and procurement systems.
