Procurement Analyst Duties

The duties and responsibilities for a Procurement Analyst, GS-1102-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following:

Oversee the development and/or recommends policies and procedures in the area of acquisition, to include formulating guidelines, implementing new developments.
Develop, coordinate and maintain Department-level policy and Justice Management Division (Offices, Boards, and Divisions) policy and initiatives, regulations and guidance relative to acquisition.
Prepare documentation for senior management with detailed data supporting various alternative courses of action.
Keep senior management advised on new/revised policy and procedures covering a variety of acquisition and management topics.
Respond to inquiries regarding Federal acquisition regulations, acquisition procedures, and procurement systems.
