Locums - Pocatello, Idaho, Non-Invasive Cardiology Opening (IMLC Accepted)
RecruitWell is seeking a Board Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist for an ongoing locums opportunity in Pocatello, Idaho.
Position Details- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing need
- Schedule: Day shift coverage with call
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- While most shifts are 10 hours, providers may occasionally work 8-9 hours depending on procedure volume
- MD will work regular clinic hours on-site and remain available for emergencies
- Night call required after clinic; physician carries pager and responds to any necessary in-person callbacks
- Facility is open to multiple providers
- Non-Invasive Cardiology inpatient consulting service
- Hospitalists manage most admissions, with Cardiology serving as a consultative service
- Admissions required: 1-3 per shift
- Patient volume: 13-18 patients per shift
- Phone consults: 4-6 per shift
- Call coverage for assigned and unassigned patients
- Call Ratio: 1:4
- Call Type: In-house
- 20-minute call response time required
- Dedicated APP support scheduled alongside physician to assist with daily workload and documentation
- 20-bed department
- Hospital is Stroke Certified
- Trauma Level II
- EMR: Epic
- Board Certified in Cardiology
- Non-Invasive Cardiology fellowship required
- Active Idaho license preferred or IMLC accepted
- Required certifications:
- ABLS
- ACLS
- BLS
- Comfortable with inpatient consultative cardiology coverage, admissions, and call responsibilities
- Ongoing need with consistent scheduling
- Strong APP support available during daytime coverage
- Opportunity to practice in a collaborative inpatient cardiology setting with hospitalist support managing most admissions
- Multiple provider openings offer scheduling flexibility
