HRIS Analyst (Entry-Level)

Sugar Land, TX | Onsite 4 days a week. 1 Day Remote

FlexTek is partnering with a growing organization to identify an HRIS Analyst who is eager to build a career at the intersection of Human Resources and Technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in IT Help Desk, Technical Support, Systems Administration, or another technology-focused role who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting end users, and working with data. Prior HRIS experience is not required. The team is open to candidates with strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn HR systems and processes.

In this role, you'll serve as a key resource for employees and business partners, supporting HR technology platforms, resolving system issues, maintaining data integrity, and helping improve HR processes through technology.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a primary point of contact for HR and timekeeping system questions from employees across the organization
• Support HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems by troubleshooting issues and assisting end users
• Create and maintain standard and ad hoc reports for HR and business leaders
• Assist with system configuration, maintenance, testing, and upgrades
• Support time and attendance processes, including timesheet reviews and system audits
• Investigate and resolve issues related to reporting, integrations, workflows, and system functionality
• Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and other departments to improve processes and system efficiency
• Assist with user training, documentation, and knowledge sharing
• Perform data audits to ensure accuracy and system integrity
• Participate in projects related to system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of experience in IT Help Desk, Technical Support, Systems Support, HRIS, Payroll, HR Operations, or a related role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable learning new software systems and business processes
• Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
