Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with an active Ohio license for an evening shift, 13-week travel assignment at an acute care facility in Ohio.

Details

• Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy department
• Evening shift hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 32 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Uses Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing system

Requirements

• Active Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license required (license required if applicable)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required — CRT not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on occasion
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity

Additional Information

• Responsible for delivering respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider order
• Some exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals is expected
• Epic EMR experience is beneficial for this role
