Corporate Accountant

The CorporateAccountant supportscore accounting operations and financial reporting to ensure compliance withGAAP, internal policies, and external reporting requirements. This rolepartners closely with the Corporate Accounting team and contributes tomonth-end close, financial analysis, audit support, and SEC reportingactivities.
Summary of Job Duties

• Review vendor invoicesand related disbursements; help manage AccountsPayable entries.
• Execute ACH and wire transfers in accordancewith internal controls and approval protocols.
• Assist with daily, monthly, quarterly, andyear-end accounting close processes.
• Work with the Corporate Accounting team on detailedfinancial analysis and analyze financial statement variances to budget.
• Assist with quarterly budgeting processes andongoing forecasting activities.
• Assist in preparing quarterly and year-end closeof financial reporting, ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, including accurate journal entries torecord activity, maintaining the general ledger,and reconciling accountbalances.
• Support debt-related accounting, includingmonitoring, reviewing, and paying principal and interest invoices.
• Assist with reviewof tenant accountsreceivable ledgers for potential bad debt reserves.
• Prepare supporting schedules for press releases, 8-K filings, 10-Q filings, and 10-K filings.
• Serve as a liaison to external auditors byexplaining journal entries and financial transactions and answering questions necessary to completethe audit in a timely manner.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives,including leveraging technology and automation tools.
• Complete various financial, accounting, administrative, and other reportsand analysis, and perform other dutiesas assigned or as necessary.

Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant accounting experience.
• CPA designation preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Strong understanding of GAAP; lease accountingexperience preferred.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detailand ownership of work product.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meetstrict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, andcommunication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel.
• Ability and willingness to use AI tools andemerging technologies to improve efficiency and automate processes.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to workeffectively across teams.
