Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Aurora, CO

Pay Rate: $35.50/hour

Employment Type: Full-Time- Direct Placement

A leading distribution and logistics facility in Aurora, Colorado is seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and automated material handling systems. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting a safe, productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Diagnose mechanical equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
• Complete emergency repairs to reduce operational downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain maintenance records and work orders.
• Follow all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a commercial, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, fulfillment, or similar industrial environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Working knowledge of conveyor systems, motors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in an industrial environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.50 - $35.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
