Surgical Critical Care/Trauma locums assignment at a Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis with coverage available ASAP through December 2026.

Schedule

Day and night shifts
Scheduled clinical coverage plus call
In-house coverage
Multiple physicians can participate in the schedule

Trauma Surgery
Emergency General Surgery
Surgical ICU / Critical Care
Approximately 1,800 2,000 trauma activations annually
90,000+ ED visits annually
979-bed hospital
30 ORs with designated acute-care and trauma capacity
Robust Interventional Radiology service
17 PAs/NPs
Epic EMR

Requirements

Board Certified
Surgical Critical Care fellowship required
ACLS
BLS
Missouri license or IMLC
Comfortable with trauma, emergency general surgery and ICU coverage

Compensation

$350/hr
Travel provided separately
