Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Travel)

Weekly pay: $2,947-$3,091 per week

Shift: 3x12 rotating
Operating room environment in a large, academic, teaching hospital setting; travel assignment with clinical variety and complex cardiovascular cases.

- Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays; flexible scheduling with on-call requirements

Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular/open heart procedures and other OR cases as assigned
- Maintain sterile technique, manage instrument counts, position patients, and support patient safety throughout procedures
- Prepare and troubleshoot OR equipment and supplies; assist with case setup and turnover between surgeries
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and circulating staff; communicate intraoperative status clearly
- Document intraoperative care in Epic EMR within the past two years
- May be asked to float to other OR suites (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.) as staffing needs arise; participate in scheduled weekend on-call as required

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in the applicable state
- BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
- Minimum 2 years OR RN experience with recent cardiovascular/open heart competency; ability to scrub and circulate
- Epic EMR experience within the last 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Prior travel experience required; experience in large, academic/teaching settings preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in on-call schedules; may require weekend calls every 5 weeks
- May be required to float to other OR suites; reliable transportation to and from work is strongly recommended
