We're looking for a hands-on Tool Room Technician to join our 1st shift team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys fabrication, machine building, troubleshooting, and working on a variety of projects. You'll support tool room operations, prototype builds, engineering projects, and equipment assembly while working in a dynamic manufacturing environment. On-the-job training is available for motivated entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude.

1st Shift Tool Room Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 to $30.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:00pm )

• Assemble and fabricate equipment with minimal supervision.
• Build and test prototype components and assemblies.
• Support engineering and continuous improvement projects.
• Assemble electrical cabinets and perform wiring from schematics.
• Layout and assemble hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T drawings.
• Perform layout work using surface plates and precision measuring equipment.
• Weld and fabricate frames and other components.
• Maintain work requests and project documentation.

1st Shift Tool Room Technician Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school training in machine building, fabrication, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, machine assembly, or maintenance is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate company vehicles when needed.
• Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
