Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: ASAP Shift: 3×12 variable – most likely straight night shift. If needed to cover both nights and days the schedule flips every 4 weeks. Experience: Minimum 2 years. First‑time candidates accepted. Qualifications Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate & Advanced, NRP Skills: Per UD, charge experience preferred or willingness to train as charge No on‑call requirement Weekend work: yes, every other week Float: ability to float within scope to meet facility needs (may float to units as needed) Block schedule: not accommodated Locals: not accepted – candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility Pending license accepted, but must have license on hand for auto offer RTO restrictions: time off approved individually upon offer; all RTO must be included in submittal Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks; traveler may be called off for 1 12‑hour shift per 2 weeks Unit Information OB Triage/Testing: 5–10 patients, 7–14 patients per shift LD/Antepartum High‑Risk LD unit: 10 OB Triage rooms, 10 LDR rooms, 3 OR suites, 4 PACU rooms. Average daily deliveries ~7, up to 14 with inductions and high‑risk antepartum. OB Triage averages 4–5 third trimester testing patients and additional triage patients each day.
