Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN for a night shift position, ideal for new grads and experienced nurses alike with an ADN/ASN or BSN. Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license (IN or Compact) required Current BLS and ACLS certification required ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred No prior nursing experience required, though previous experience is preferred Responsibilities 16-bed Cardiac ICU (CVCU) unit caring for pre/post open-heart surgery patients using a universal bed concept where patients stay in the same private room from surgery through discharge Also cares for general ICU, complex cardiology, IABP/Impella, and post-cardiac arrest cooling patients Third shift schedule, 6:30p-7a, working three 12-hour shifts per week Every other weekend required Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination for a diverse ICU and cardiac population Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities along with patient and family education Delegate and oversee tasks performed by other care team members Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities such as monitoring for falls, pressure ulcers, and CAUTIs Clinical educator provides customized orientation First-time travelers and new grads are welcome to apply Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-746225 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
