Position Overview

A boutique commercial real estate law firm in the Monsey, NY area is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its growing practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who has a strong interest in transactional commercial real estate law and wants to develop their skills within a focused and professional legal environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, attentive to detail, and possesses strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with transactional commercial real estate matters.
Draft, review, and revise legal documents and agreements.
Conduct legal research related to commercial real estate transactions.
Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and other legal materials.
Review transaction documents for accuracy, completeness, and legal issues.
Assist with due diligence and document organization.
Support attorneys throughout various stages of commercial real estate transactions.
Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in transactions.
Maintain organized and accurate matter files and documentation.
Track deadlines and ensure assigned matters move forward efficiently.
Handle multiple matters and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Assist with additional transactional legal matters as needed.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.
Admission to practice law in New York, or eligibility to practice as required for the position.
Strong interest in transactional commercial real estate law .
Excellent legal research and writing skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously.
Professional, dependable, and proactive.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
Prior commercial real estate or transactional experience is a plus.
