ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Real Estate and Civil Litigation | Remote

Gottlieb Law is a growing Arizona real estate and civil litigation firm seeking two associate attorneys to join its team. The successful candidates will assume meaningful responsibility for an existing caseload involving real estate, business, contract, and related civil disputes.

The Role

• Manage litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution, with appropriate support and collaboration.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide practical, responsive guidance.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, settlement documents, and other substantive work product.
• Take and defend depositions and appear at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with the firm's attorneys and professional staff on strategy, deadlines, and client service.

Qualifications

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona.
• At least two years of civil litigation experience preferred; real estate or business litigation experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage matters, meet deadlines, and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Excellent legal research, writing, advocacy, organizational, and client-communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing to a collaborative team.

The position is fully remote, however, the firm has a physical office as well. The attorney must maintain a professional, quiet workspace and remain available for in-person court appearances, depositions, mediations, trials, client meetings, and firm events when required. The firm meets regularly to coordinate matters, support professional development, and maintain a connected team environment.
