Physician Assistant or Nurse Practiitoner | Fort Worth, TX #26-1028 Fort Worth, Texas, United States Job Description Location: Fort Worth, Texas Clinic: 2205 N Tarrant Pkwy, Fort Worth, TX 76177 Status: Full-Time Schedule: Three shifts per week; clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, and Saturday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Compensation: Competitive compensation + bonus Benefits: Full benefits package available Position Summary We are seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Fort Worth, Texas . Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound management Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR Code and bill services appropriately Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license Board certification: PA: NCCPA certification NP: ANCC or AANP certification; FNP required Active DEA license or ability to obtain Ability to treat patients of all ages Active BLS certification Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays DOT certification required or willingness to obtain; fees covered Preferred Qualifications Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience Strong procedural skills, including suturing, splinting, and wound care Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read About NextCare NextCare is one of the nation's largest urgent care providers, serving communities with accessible, affordable, high‑quality care across 160+ locations in 11 states.
