Job Description & Requirements American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVICU RN for a night shift travel assignment in Carmel, Indiana. The role requires at least one year of cardiac critical care experience and current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. Assignment Overview Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel One weekend every 3 weeks required Floating to all units within clinical scope required Night shift hours: 18:45–07:15 Emergency Remote Access (EMR): Sunrise Clinical Manager Openings: 2 Unit Details Acuity‑adaptable Cardiovascular ICU with 80 beds Variable nurse‑to‑patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4 depending on patient acuity Cardiac critical care patient population; open heart receiving experience preferred Required to work 1 weekend every 3 weeks Floating required to all units within clinical scope across the Ascension hospital system as needed 13‑week assignment Compensation Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
