Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianThe duties for the Maintenance Technician I include, but are not limited to: safely and responsibly working in an industrial production environment that has exposure to high voltages, hot and cold temperatures, indoors and outdoors, chemicals, confined spaces, and mechanical hazards. The maintenance technicians responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical defects of all kinds, on all machinery and facilities as well as completion of preventive maintenance routines.All company employees are expected to continuously improve their skill set and methods of performing their job so as to aid in both their personal and the companys growth and success. Maintenance technicians will be expected to cross train and assist others as needed with troubleshooting process and production issues. The duties of this role will include grounds keeping responsibilities year round as well as backing up the housekeeper role when required.Responsibilities:Handle privileged and confidential information in a secure manner.Work safely with high voltages, chemicals, mechanical assembliesThink and act with security in mindMinor housekeeping and production tasksGrounds keeping of all kinds, year roundElectrical and mechanical repairsPreventive maintenance on all production machinery and facilityContinuously improve your skill set and methods of performing your jobMiscellaneous tasks as assignedQualifications:Minimum of 1 years experience performing maintenance duties in an industrial setting.Ability to stand for long periods of timeHigh level of dedication and motivation for your job with a positive attitude.Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing settingMust have reliable transportationAbility to read and write EnglishMust be a self-starter with the ability to stay on task with minimal supervisionStrong problem solving skills a mustStrong communication skills and good attention to detailEducation and/ or experience with electrical and mechanical maintenanceMust provide required tools and secure storage for them.Excellent attendance with the requirement for overtime work as neededThe ability to respond to an after-hours call in, promptly anytime day or nightBasic computer and industrial automation skillsTelephone
