Area Manager

Brown & Brown is seeking an Area Manager to join our growing team in Arlington, TX. How You Will Contribute Seek out new accounts and service existing accounts for the agency by helping clients choose warranty setups that best suit their needs. Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients. Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of the person or property, and to discuss existing service plan coverage. Select a company that offers the type of coverage requested by the client. Ensure that plan requirements are fulfilled, including completion of appropriate forms. Call on F&I Managers in RV and Auto dealerships to explain plans, analyze and suggest additions or changes to their selling technique. Explain necessary bookkeeping requirements for dealers to implement the program. Confer with clients to obtain and provide information when claims are made on a policy. Monitor insurance claims to ensure they are settled equitably for both client and insurer. Attend meetings, seminars, and programs to learn about new products and services, develop new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts. Train dealers on sales and F&I processes as needed. Attend trade shows to promote company lines of business. Licenses & Certifications License or designation required. Valid driver’s license. Skills & Experience Minimum education: High school diploma. Proficiency with MS Office Suite. Exceptional telephone demeanor. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service. 1–3 years’ experience in a similar position.
