Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This position begins August 10, 2026, and is scheduled to continue through December 2026, covering a maternity leave with the possibility of extension for the remainder of the school year. You will be based at an elementary setting focused on providing services to three medically fragile classrooms alongside another SLP and an SLPA. This collaborative environment ensures ample professional support and a team-oriented approach to care.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Demonstrated background delivering speech therapy in school settings
• Proficiency working with medically fragile children
• Experience supporting students who utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
• Adaptable team player, comfortable working with additional SLPs and SLPAs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech/language services for students with significant medical and communication needs
• Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and document progress for assigned caseload
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and related service providers to best support each student’s learning journey
• Train and consult with school staff on implementing AAC strategies and integrating devices into the classroom
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
