Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A growing dermatology pharmacy organization headquartered in Tennessee is seeking a dedicated pharmacy leader to oversee compliance and operational excellence at their Franklin, TN administration office. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead readiness and compliance efforts for URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board regulations.
• Develop and implement scalable SOPs, compliance workflows, tracking systems, and documentation processes.
• Conduct mock audits and identify operational gaps and vulnerabilities proactively.
• Manage multi-state licensure tracking and maintain operational standards.
• Create and lead compliance training for pharmacy staff.
• Partner cross-functionally to enhance operational accountability and quality assurance.
• Drive consistency and audit readiness across all pharmacy locations.

Desired Experience:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist license (candidates from diverse backgrounds will be considered).
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in pharmacy compliance, accreditation, regulatory oversight, or quality assurance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks including URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, and DEA.
• Demonstrated ability to build systems, improve processes, and ensure operational accountability.
• Excellent organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Proficiency with compliance systems, spreadsheets, LMS platforms, and reporting tools.

Schedule & Location:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• No on-call or weekend responsibilities.
• Primarily onsite at the Administration office in Franklin, TN.
• Some quarterly travel to the pharmacy location in Abilene, TX.
• Limited remote flexibility after onboarding, with occasional work-from-home on Wednesdays.
