Our organization is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Infectious Disease physician to become part of a well-established multi-specialty group practice situated in Ann Arbor, Michigan .

The chosen candidate will collaborate with eight other physicians and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in a practice focused on diagnosing and treating adult infections. Many of our team members possess extensive knowledge in various fields, including HIV, hepatitis, wound care, global health, tuberculosis, antimicrobial stewardship, hospital epidemiology, bone and joint infections, clinical research, and hospital leadership. Our robust pharmacy department is complemented by a dedicated ID/antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist.

This role primarily involves inpatient care, with some outpatient responsibilities, typically consisting of one half-day clinic each week. The clinic is supported by dedicated medical assistants and an HIV/ID nurse. There is also some rounding assistance available during the week from an APP. Call duties during weekdays and holidays are shared equally among the group, while weekend call is also distributed evenly, with rounding assistance provided by the ID fellow and/or an APP.

The hospital serves as a tertiary referral center and includes a long-term acute care facility. We also offer both in-person and telemedicine services for Trinity Health Brighton, utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system.

This position provides the chance to engage in academic and research initiatives, including the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. The fellowship program accommodates 2-3 fellows. Regular educational opportunities are available, including ID Grand Rounds, noon didactic conferences, and microbiology plate rounds. Our fellows frequently publish alongside our faculty, and we have team members with extensive nationally recognized research publications and leadership roles. Our group is well-represented on hospital committees and in medical staff leadership.
