Accountant (Must Have SAP & GAAP)

Position Accountant Location Franklin Lakes, NJ Type of Employment Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders Only) Duration 12 months Hours 40 hours per week Shift 1st Shift Client Medical Device Company Level of Experience Mid‑level Responsibilities Accurately and timely complete balance sheet reconciliations. Analyze financial data, including revenue recognition according to GAAP. Work with capital schedules and understand proper depreciation useful life. Collaborate with research and development team to track project expenses and development fees collected. Maintain great attention to detail, organization, and financial acumen. Operate with high aptitude for technology and financial systems in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general ledger accounting (preferably in consumer products manufacturing or a similar environment). 3–5 years of knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Strong MS Excel skills; experience with SAP, BPC, Power BI, and FSM is a plus. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Willingness and flexibility to work various hours needed according to deadlines (e.g., month end). Ability to travel once a week or every other week to central New Jersey for a newly acquired business.
