Staff Accountant

Job Summary: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting with month-end close processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop accounting skills and gain experience in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and record journal entries accurately and timely. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. Support accounts payable and receivable processes. Assist with audits and prepare audit documentation. Maintain and update financial records and reports. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related role preferred. Knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
