Project Accountant

Overview:
Responsible for supporting financial operations across multiple projects, ensuring accurate cost tracking, reporting, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.


Responsibilities:

• Monitor project expenses from initial planning through completion
• Manage invoicing, payables/receivables, and cash flow activity
• Produce periodic financial reports and assist with external reporting needs
• Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records and liaise with outside advisors
• Support cost allocation, billing reconciliation, and project-level financial tracking
• Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
• Handle lien waivers and general contract-related financial tasks

Qualifications:

• Background in accounting, finance, or related field
• Experience with project-based or construction accounting preferred
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software
