Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for various daily accounting tasks within a fast-paced department. These range from invoicing to accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. The Accounting Clerk's daily tasks are detailed, high volume and deadline based. Must have strong analytical and Excel skills to ensure accurate and timely results. Duties and Responsibilities Work with various members of the accounting department to complete daily routines. Participate in daily reconciliations Provide accurate and timely work Maintain accounts receivable, billing and accounts payable records Assist with accounts receivable and application of customer payments Review invoices for accuracy and correct coding Assist in organizing paperwork Speak with customers regarding payments, refunds and statements Other duties as assigned Requirements More than 1 year of proven experience in an accounting department. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field preferred Experience working in a fast paced environment, preferred Motivated to learn and take on new challenges and groundwork at the same time Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills Accuracy and attention to detail Analytical skills
