Vice President of Accounting and Finance

Our client, a privately owned company in Metro Detroit, is seeking a VP of Accounting/Finance to join their team. RESPONSIBILITIES of the VP of Accounting/Finance Overall accounting and financial process ownership for the team, and comfortable being a "hands on" VP to start. Will provide high level strategic support of organization and make the necessary financial recommendations VP of Accounting/Finance will be responsible for the presentation of monthly reporting packages to the Executive Team VP of Accounting/Finance will evaluate current market conditions and advise of potential risks or opportunities BENEFITS of the VP of Accounting/Finance Will be able to build out accounting/finance function and mentor the future team Company is in growth mode EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE of the VP of Accounting/Finance 15+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field Expert in Excel knowledge, Pivot Tables, Vlookup and SUMIF formulas Small Company ERP Conversion (from a QuickBooks type) to a more robust system #J-18808-Ljbffr
