About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a strategic enterprise leader, responsible for shaping the financial direction of the organization and ensuring its long-term sustainability and growth. This role involves serving as the principal advisor to the CEO on a wide range of financial matters, including strategy, business performance, investments, pricing, and capital allocation. The successful candidate will lead the transformation of the finance function into a high-performing strategic partner, modernizing financial processes and supporting innovation and operational excellence. Key responsibilities for the CFO at the company include leading the development and execution of long-range financial strategy, establishing robust financial planning and performance management systems, and fostering an entrepreneurial culture that supports innovation and disciplined risk-taking. The CFO will also be tasked with global financial operations, talent development, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in business administration, accounting, or finance, with a minimum of 20 years' progressive financial leadership experience, particularly in a complex, high-performing nonprofit organization. Strong skills in financial stewardship, risk management, and the ability to influence decisions across a global organization are essential. Experience in international development and a proven track record of working with diverse donors are highly valued.
