Job Description
ROLE - SPECIALTY

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, 36 per week

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Ensure adherence to established protocols and standards in patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Participate in staff education and development initiatives.

Compliance / Notes:
- This department includes education and non-productive hours of Float Pool nurses.
- Float Pool nurses working on a unit should always clock in to the unit being worked.
