Oncology/Hematology Registered Nurse Topeka, Kansas

What You'll Do

  • Provide specialized nursing care to patients with hematological and oncological diagnoses
  • Administer chemotherapy, symptom management, and supportive care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Educate patients and families on treatment processes and prognosis
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including proper charting in Epic
  • Maintain compliance with vaccination and certification requirements

What You Need

Required:
  • Valid RN license in Kansas or Multistate license
  • AHA BLS certification (must be current at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1-year acute care nursing experience
  • ADN or BSN degree
  • Immunity status for Hep B, MMR, Varicella, TDaP, and TB documentation
Preferred:
  • Chemotherapy certification
  • Experience in oncology or hematology nursing
